Megan Reynolds is a 20 something entrepreneur who balances her business and 17 units a semester at her local university, CSUSM. While she spends her days pursuing her business degree in management and entreprenuership, she tweets, facebooks, and blogs in between classes. Her nights are filled with jewelry-making and good t.v. She follows television shows and Nielsen Ratings like they’re a sport. If she was a fictional character, she’d be Hermione Granger. She is also actively involved with her church and extended family.

Since Megan means pearl, she was destined to fall in love with the natural beauty found in pearls. Born, raised, and currently residing in North San Diego County, California, she is constantly inspired by the beautiful Pacific Ocean.

Megan started Flawed Perfection Jewelry in August 2009, after making jewelry for several years. She wanted to create designs with natural gemstones and sterling silver because she believes there is a unique beauty in these natural gifts from the earth and sea. Her tag line, “from natural flaws…to design perfection” embodies this idea. She chooses to celebrate the natural flaws of gemstones and pearls; when combined into a piece of jewelry, these natural flaws just become part of the design.

Flawed Perfection Jewelry is all about quality, sophisticated designs at affordable prices. Each design is playful and fun, all while still being professional and wearable for the office. There are designs for the woman who loves a pop of color or for the woman who loves a good neutral piece of jewelry. Many of the designs are also perfect for your wedding day and would be a great update on traditional bridal jewelry.

Megan loves to do custom work as well! Whether you just want a design in a different color and/or length or want a completely custom designed piece, she would love to help make a special piece just for you. Send her an e-mail with what you have in mind to get started. To see her past custom work, visit the portfolio page.
